Last years production of 'Stepping Out' was anounced as Corals last production untill blood Brothers became available for early 2008.
Coral Taylor and TALOS members saw Blood Brothers at the Aotea Center in 1994. Having directed musicals and reparatory since 1984, she wondered if it could ever be staged at Te Awamutu's Woolshed Theatre.
When the performing rights became available several years later, the Woolshed Theatre kept missing out. However rights were secured for early 2008 and Coral came out of retirement for this show.
Opening night was Saturday May 24th 2008.
Livesound for the show involved 16 radio face mic's. It was the first time stereo sound mix, active panning and vocal reverb were ever used at the woolshed. Rear Speakers were also used for surround sound effects.
